GTA 5 fans who are still plugged into the entire GTA Online ecosystem should be warned that one of the main features will no longer work on some devices.

GTA 5 is without a shadow of a doubt, the biggest game in the world and even though it's coming up on its six-year anniversary next week, it continues to be one of the biggest sellers month on month.
For instance, last week it was revealed that Grand Theft Auto 5 was the most downloaded game on PlayStation Store in August.
Granted, the game released a significant update to GTA Online, but it's still madness that the game should be the most downloaded title in a month five years after it first released.
So we're clear right, GTA 5, is still, a big deal.
Well, there's some bad news for folks this week as Rockstar has announced they'll be ending support for one of the games most useful features on some devices. Namely, the iFruit App.
We imagine most players will know what it does, but for those who don't know, it's a companion app that syncs with GTA 5 and GTA Online.
One of the key features is the LS Customs app that allows you to modify your characters vehicles without having to boot up the game.
However, earlier this week, out of the blue, Rockstar ended support for the app on Windows Phone, Windows Store and PlayStation Vita platforms.
Thankfully, it will continue to be available on iOS devices via the App Store, and Android devices via Google Play for the foreseeable.

Clearly with so much else to be getting on with, like updates to Red Dead Online (plus we hope GTA 6 & Bully 2) continuing support for an app on several devices with likely little to no users base is just a waste of time and money.
Just like any apps, we imagine that even certain iOS and Android devices will be unable to run the iFruit app in the future, as the app is updated beyond the scope of older phones capabilities.

The Grand Theft Auto: iFruit mobile application will no longer be available for download and will no longer interact with GTAV on these platforms. The iFruit application will remain available for iOS devices at the App Store and for Android devices via Google Play.
