A new set of challenges have arrived in Fortnite which players will have to complete if they want to get their hands on the Scientist skin. Here’s where to find the glowing cube, rift above Loot Lake, and landing pod within a meteor.
The new Scientist skin is easily one of the coolest skins that has ever arrived in Fortnite, and what makes it even better is it’s completely free to obtain as long as you spend time doing.
Many of the challenges are largely pretty straight forward, but the trickiest one asks players to go to certain locations on the map, which can be difficult if you don’t know exactly where to go.
Yes, we’re talking about the ‘Touch a giant glowing cube, enter the Rift above Loot Lake, and search a landing pod within a meteor’ challenge.
Lucky for you, we have the exact locations you’ll have to go to so the hard part is out of the way.
Giant glowing cube location
This glowing cube refers to the cube that’s located beneath the floating island in between Haunted Hills and Snobby Shores. All you’ll have to do here is bounce your character into it and you’ll be good to get
Rift above Loot Lake location
Chances are you already know all about the Loot Lake rift, but if you don’t, you can find it in Loot Lake.
The easiest way to enter this rift would be to land in the area and hit the rift from the air, or you can build a ramp up to it. Either one works and it’s an easy part of the challenge to knock out.
Landing pod within a meteor location
The final part of this challenge takes us to the meteor that’s been suspended in mid-air.
You’ll have to land on this one and head inside to where the chest and ammo box can be found. It’s embedded into the wall of the meteor and it’s pretty hard to miss.
You might run into resistance here since it’s a popular landing spot so be careful of that.
